Installing kiki on your phone and computer

kiki works in the browser at kiki.app.br, and you can install it like an app on your phone and computer. The Android app is in an open test on Google Play, and the iPhone app is coming soon. The account is the same everywhere.

kiki works in the browser at kiki.app.br, and you can install it as an app. The Android app is in testing on Google Play, and the iPhone app is coming soon. The account is the same everywhere, with the same goals.

On Android

Anyone can join the test, with the Google account on their phone:

  1. Join the testers group at groups.google.com/g/kiki-testadores. Nobody sees who is in it, and it sends no messages.
  2. Accept the test at play.google.com/apps/testing/br.app.kiki. If the test doesn't show, wait a few minutes and try again.
  3. Install kiki from Google Play and sign in. Right after you accept, Google Play may show kiki but fail to install it, for up to about 30 minutes. Wait and try again.

Rather not test? Install kiki from the browser, and it gets notifications like an app:

  1. Open kiki.app.br in Chrome, sign in and tap “Instalar a kiki” (install kiki) in the notice on the Início screen or in “Você” › “Configurações”.
  2. Or open Chrome's menu (the three dots) and tap “Install app”.

On iPhone

Until the iPhone app arrives, use kiki in Safari and add it to your Home Screen:

  1. Open kiki.app.br in Safari and sign in.
  2. Tap “Share”, the square with an arrow pointing up.
  3. Tap “Add to Home Screen” and confirm.

On iPhone, notifications from the browser only work with kiki added to the Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or later). Open kiki from its Home Screen icon and turn on “Notificações neste aparelho” (notifications on this device) in “Você” › “Configurações” › “Notificações”.

On a computer

Use kiki at kiki.app.br. In Chrome or Edge you can install it: click “Instalar a kiki” in “Você” › “Configurações”, or the install icon at the end of the address bar.

Common questions

  • Do I have to install it? No: everything works in the browser. On iPhone, installing is what lets you get notifications.
  • Do my goals carry over to the app? Yes: they live in your account, not on the device.
