Short answers on how kiki works. The app is in Portuguese, so buttons are named by their Portuguese label, in quotes.

Goals and actions

  • How to create your first goal

    Name the goal, pick a deadline and say how you will track it with actions. The AI or a template can draft it for you.

  • Actions: how progress is calculated

    Each action has a starting value and a target. Progress runs from 0% to 100%, and a goal's progress is the average of what is inside it.

  • How to log an update

    Once a week, log each action's current value and, if you like, a note.

  • A goal's retrospective

    When a goal ends, look back: what worked, what to improve and, if you like, start again with a new deadline.

Rhythm and progress

  • Reminders: day, time, email and phone

    Choose the day and time of the weekly reminder and how you get it: email or a notification on your device.

  • Streak, level and achievements

    Your streak counts consecutive weeks with an update. Your level rises with active weeks and never goes down. Achievements mark milestones along the way.

  • Connecting Strava

    Connect Strava and link an action. Each new activity arrives as a suggestion, and one tap turns it into a check-in of yours.

Partners and challenges

  • Partners: someone to keep you going

    Invite up to 10 people to follow your goals. They see your progress and send cheers; your comments and values stay with you.

  • Challenges with friends

    Create a private challenge, invite the people going with you by link, and follow the progress, each to the target or together to a total.

  • Step challenges

    Connect Health Connect to sync your daily steps in a private challenge and learn what is shared and how to stop it.

  • Reporting and blocking

    Report what someone sent and kiki takes it off your screen at once. Block a person to see nothing more from them, and unblock them whenever you like.

App and account

  • Profile picture

    Upload a picture, take one on the spot or use your Google one. Your partners and the people in the same challenges see it.

  • Installing kiki on your phone and computer

    kiki works in the browser at kiki.app.br, and you can install it like an app on your phone and computer. The Android app is in an open test on Google Play, and the iPhone app is coming soon. The account is the same everywhere.

  • Account, password and sign-in options

    Sign in with email and password or Google; on iOS, you can also use Apple. Recover your password and change your name.

  • Downloading your data and deleting your account

    Download a copy of everything kiki keeps about you and, if you want, delete your account. Both are in Perfil, in the Você tab.

  • kiki is free

    Every kiki feature is free for everyone, with no plan to choose and no credit card.
