How to create your first goal

Name the goal, pick a deadline and say how you will track it with actions. The AI or a template can draft it for you.

A goal in kiki is what you want to achieve, always with a deadline. Inside it sit its actions: numbers that show you are getting there. If you like, group some actions into an objective, one part of the goal. The app is in Portuguese, so buttons are named here by their Portuguese label, in quotes.

Your first goal

Right after you sign in, kiki asks “Qual é a sua meta?” (what is your goal?).

  1. Write the goal your own way, such as “Run the half marathon”, and tap “Continuar” (continue).
  2. Under “Até quando?” (until when?), pick the deadline. Every goal has one, and you can extend it later.
  3. Under “Como você vai medir?” (how will you measure it?), add 1 to 3 actions, each with a name, “Começa em” (starts at), “Alvo” (target) and a unit. To group some of them, tap “Adicionar objetivo” (add objective).
  4. Under “Revise sua meta” (review your goal), check everything and tap “Salvar minha meta” (save my goal).

Actions follow the goal's deadline unless you give one its own date. If you would rather start later, tap “Pular por agora” (skip for now).

With the AI or a template

Tap “+” and “Meta” (goal). Under “Comece mais rápido” (start faster):

  • “Montar com a IA”: write what you want to achieve, and the AI suggests how to measure it. You review everything before saving.
  • “Usar um modelo”: pick a ready-made goal, such as running a race or reading more, and adjust the name, the deadline and the targets.

If the AI is unavailable, carry on with “Escrever do meu jeito” (write it my way) without losing what you wrote.

Tips

  • Keep to a few goals: two or three are plenty.
  • Write the goal as a result you will recognise when you reach it.
  • An action can also stand alone, outside any goal, for something small you just want to track.
